PEACE FC CLINCH KARTONG KNOCK-OUT CUP TITLE

A victory on penalty shoot-out was enough to hand Peace FC a knock-out triumph at the expense of Young Silver Arrows FC in the 2018 Kartong Village Easter tournament.

The two sides played goalless stalemate in regulation time before Peace emerged victorious 6 - 5 on a post-match shoot-out to be crown knock-out cup champions.

The knock-out trophy was named after the late Habib Touray an environmental activist who passed away earlier this year.

Peace football club as cup winners were given three thousand dalasis (3, 000) cash and a trophy, while runners up Young Sliver Arrows gest a consolation of two thousand dalasis (2, 000).

The golden ball award (player of the tournament) was scooped by Dominic Colley of Young Silver Arrows.
