Open Letter To The President, Gunjur Sport Committee

Dear Lamin N. Darboe

I am writing as a concern citizen of Gunjur who has keen interest and served in Gunjur football for many years. It is very discouraging and disappointing the way the sport committee which you lead for all this year's has been operating lately, your sport committee is not communicating with the teams effectively which is causing a lot of delays and unnecessary misunderstanding between the teams and The Gunjur Sport Committee.

Since the completion of the 2017/2018 League and Knock out competitions, the sports committee has gone silent for many months and the teams are in a state of confusion as to what next.

Rumours on the streets are that the Sport Committee has stepped down since their mandate has expired which is unconstitutional, I am not taking the words on the streets a reality neither am I judging you based on hear say. This is just a reminder. As a dedicated servant of Gunjur football, I am hereby urging you to write to teams and organise the Congress as required by the constitution.

Almost all the major nawettan centers have started the nawettan qualify rounds except for Gunjur, our competitions were delayed last year as a result of our late start. Please wake up and start and start the process of preparing yourselves and the teams for the 2018 Congress as dictated by the constitution.

Playing nawettan after the Super nawettan/ Zonals is the most boring thing that can ever happen to our competitions, as sure you and the entire sport committee is aware of that. We as teams, coaches, fans and concern followers of the beautiful game of football will not like to continue playing football after the Super nawettan/ Zonals.

Please rise up to the challenge of organising the CONGRESS before it become too late for all of us. All for One. One for All. ALL FOR GUNJUR, GUNJUR FOR ALL.
